EvoX Almost Wins ICGC..... !!!!!

In one of the Biggest and most fantastic Event(ICGC) INDIA has ever seen, hosted by "Rapture Gaming" and Sponsored by "Razer, Cooler Master & nVidia", Team EvoX fought some Tough Battles to ensure that some people's wrong notions about Team's capabilities were as false as Zimbabwe Winning the Cricket World Cup.

Set up in Goa this Event had a different type of charm altogether.As they all say Goa is not India in many ways and that made this Event even more Charming.
About 300 Gamers came for the Finals of this Tournament, all were made to stay in one of the best resorts of Goa : "The Palmarinha".

Along with ICGC this event was alss host to the SACGC(South Asian Cyber Gaming Championship) Competition and thus players from Sri Lanka & Bangladesh also came for the event to test their mettle against India's Best.

Most of the Popular Games namely : COD4, CS 1.6, DOTA, FIFA, NFS-MW, TrackMania, Street Fighter were played at the event.

Going into the Tournament with almost a Full B team - 4 EvoX-Falcons Team Guyz along With TeRm!N@ToR from the main Team, Team EvoX's Campaign began late into the 2nd day of the event after a wait of about 40hrs against a Team from Pune which EvoX won convincingly, The 13-0 Scoreline being a testimony to that.Team's 2nd match was a BY as the opponent failed to show up at the time of the match.
The tournament carried on and becoz of the loser bracket the whole event was turning into a very exciting competition.

EvoX also fielded a 2nd EvoX-R Team with some new Players in the Line-Up so as to give them top level experience of Pro-Gaming, They had an Amazing Time too and had some wonderful moments in their matches to speak off with the most memorable being EvoX.IR0NL4DY taking out 3 FT5 main team guyz in matter of 10 odd Seconds. Tho They did not make it to the Semi-Finals they had a very good experience of playing at the Highest Level.

After Defeating a very Good Challenger in Chennai's RIP Team, who were just adamant in that they will surely defeat EvoX, Team EvoX Marched into the finals to face FT5.
Fun Fact - At 1 point of Time during EvoX vs RIP match, The Scoreline read 10-2 in EvoX's favor (Final Scoreline 13-7).

The Final was one of the most anticipated match of the Tournament. Two arch Rivals EvoX & FT5 were facing each other once again in less then 2 months(Their Last encounter @ Global School is a Testimony of the magnitude and intensity of the match when these 2 Teams Face each other).However this time around Team FT5 had an advantage in that they had in their Line-Up 4 Main Team Players and 1 B Team Player.

Nevertheless that's never an excuse and the match started all Guns Blazing, Very Soon team FT5 had an upper hand on Team EvoX and after sometime the scoreline read 12-6 with FT5 requiring only 1 more round win to win ICGC. At that point Team EvoX made a startling comeback which was touted as one of the best in the tournament, From 12-6, The Scoreline after sometime Read -> 12-10 and it was almost 12-11 when EvoX.DoM! made a Super Sexy Glitch Blunder and in the process suiciding himself (IMO The Most Joked Thing of the Tournament), Everybody Laughed as much as they could and we still continue to do so and thus giving team FT5 their 1 last round win which they required.

Final Scoreline - 13-10 and FT5 won the tournament.
There were handshakes all around,photographs being Clicked and one of the best tournaments of COD4 in India ended on a very positive note.
