Hey Guyz....Finally After a Very long time "Team EvoX" is Back on Top with a Bang by Winning
Night Cup 3 in which 22 teams From all over India Participated.
After spending almost 4 months in wilderness and a Prolonged losing streak which lasted in almost every Online Tournament since the last LAN (BYOC), EvoX Gaming Came back with a astonishing performance in Night Cup 3 to prove once again that Ups and Downs are a part of life and they still can Beat the Best.
Not Only did EvoX Gaming Win the Night Cup but even EvoX-Falcons played Awesome and almost came close to defeating the team who were favorites to win the Tournament.
However as alwayz, whatever happens with EvoX is alwayz marred by controversies and this win too was no different.
The Tournament Went on as Follows:
Round 1 :
#EvoX Gaming were Seeded 4th and the Top 6 seeds were directly Given Entry into the 2nd Round.
#However EvoX Falcons Faced DOD in Round 1 Which they Won Convincingly 13-0.
Round 2:
#EvoX Gaming Faced Ninja A whom They Defeated 13-4 & 13-2 and Moved Onto 3rd Round.
#EvoX Falcons However Faced FT5-Hawks and Rest assured they played The Best i have seen them play in abt 6 Months now which ofc was reflected in the Result - FT5 13-11, EvoX 13-11, EvoX 13-11
and thus they moved onto the 3rd Round.
Round 3:
#EvoX Gaming faced a spirited INDZ Squad who gave a very good fight but in the end EvoX Gaming Prevailed over them 13-9, 13-7.
#For EvoX Falcons this was the toughest match as they were facing FT5 Main, They however but up a very brave fight but in the end lost 13-9 & 13-8 To FT5, thus Their campaign in Night Cup 3 ended.
Round 4 : Semi Finals
EvoX Gaming Faced dA|V in the semis - One of the strongest Team of the Tournament and the Winner of Night Cup 1. A Great contest was alwayz on the cards, as the newly formed rejuvnated EvoX Team was up against the recent champions and by all means the match went down till the wire.
#dA|V won the first map convincingly immediately proving to everyone that EvoX is still not the top Team pf the past who had won "BLKG" and made "India Proud in ACC2" , but as we alwayz do, we once again proved everyone wrong.
#Team EvoX came back very strongly in next map which went down to the wire. 12-12 was the final scoreline, MR3 Came into place and EvoX won the 2nd map 4-1.
#The Last map was won convincingly By Team EvoX (13-9) and Thus EvoX Sealed their place in the Finals of The Night Cup 3.
Round 5 : Finals
EvoX Gaming faced a very very spirited and aggressive dA|Sig team who had defeated FT5(The favorites of The Tournament) in Semi Final and thus were very pretty sure that they will win against EvoX.
But as said before, EvoX keeps Surprising People and proves everybody wrong. Just when people started saying that EvoX will never come back or be the Team they once were, We Came back and we came Back for Good.
Map 1 - Strike : As many might not know, The Final match was delayed by 1 week by dA|Sig due to player concerns and becoz 4 of the 5, Team EvoX's players are employed and virtually had no practice the entire
week, The Lack of Practice was displayed in Map 1 where EvoX were beaten comprehensively by dA|Sig 13-8.
Map 2 - Crossfire : dA|Sig's Strongest Map - Team EvoX came back very strongly and even tho it was dA|Sig's strongest map won very convincingly 13-7.
Map 3 - District : The Final Map Of Night Cup 3 - Team EvoX Initially took a strong lead but dA|Sig's came back very strongly and at one point of time scoreline read 8-7, with all possibilities of the match going down to the wire.
At this point Team EvoX Changed the Strat and used 3 X AK-47 Along with 1 SMG & 1 Sniper and hence the Lead started to Increase and eventually Team EvoX Won The Map & Match & Finally Night Cup 3 Convincingly 13-9.
Celebrations Followed....Everybody Applauded Team EvoX efforts and all who played were appreciated by almost everyone and especially the fact that Finally After 4 Months Team EvoX was back on top.
But as i mentioned before "Controversies". OFC, this did not end here, it can't, nothing can, becoz whatever involves EvoX involves Problem & Controversies.
EvoX.TeRm!N@ToR uploaded a Screen shot which showed him using some "Custom Skins" which are just Like "Custom Configs" used by almost everyone else, only difference being that Configs change the entire environment to our defined colors while custom skins keep environment to Default i.e. dark but change the colors of the players.
The Admins approved its not a hack or anything which helps in any illegal stuff but the opposition who by know had a reason to cry for their loss which they had never thought gonna happen kept shouting DQ DQ DQ.
Taking in account that In Night Cup 1 Someone from opposition had used a Genuine Hack against Team EvoX but Team EvoX was not awarded any DQ or a RE-Match.
Not only did EvoX.TeRm!N@ToR apologized for using them as they were used unknowingly but he persuaded his team for a Rematch
In spite of this not being a Hack/Wrong Doing, Team EvoX agreed for a Rematch but the opposition did not..they kept shouting Cheating/Hax and other stuff, perhaps still scared that even w/o skins usage they will lose...LoL
The Admins Simply gave The Win to EvoX just like they did to FT5K in Night Cup 1 and that was it...
