It was Finally Here....India's Biggest Gaming Festival "BYOC" in New Delhi was Back and boy was it back with a Big Bang.
Not only it was one of the biggest event taking in account the number of outstation teams participating in it but it was also the biggest in the number of Sponsors, Brand Booths and most Importantly
Team Fnatic's Presence which made this event one of the biggest event India has ever seen..only exception can be Vixture which was held 3 yrs back.
Sponsorship from MSI, Razer, Cooler Master, Airtel & Norton made sure that this event went on smoothly.
Team Fnatic interacted with all the Gamers, Shared their experiences with everyone, Gave tips and not only that, they also played lot of exhibition matches with the Indian COD4 & CS Gamers( Team + 1v1 Matches).
#Team EvoX @ BYOC : This event tho can be described as one of the worst events in Team EvoX's 18 month History wherein Team EvoX were finally made to bite dust by their arch rivals Team FT5.
Not only did EvoX Lose to FT5 but they lost comprehensibly and it does not end here, Perhaps the overconfidence or low morale but Team EvoX also lost to FT5K team as well by a Bare Margin.
It was a first Event where team EvoX failed to secure either 1st or 2nd Position.
At the end of the event Team EvoX was placed 3rd which is not bad by Normal standards but very bad considering EvoX standards who have until now secured No 1 position in 90% of their events and 2nd position in the remaining 10% of their events.
The Only Good thing for Team EvoX at summer BYOC was the match with Team Fnatic where in Team EvoX emerged as the only Indian Team which
Defeated Team Fnatic of all the Teams and Players who faced Team Fnatic.

Event Flow :> How it all unfolded
Day 1 : Full Fun Frolic & Masti as usual, Interaction with team Fnatic, Razer & MSI representatives from abroad.
This day also saw maximum number of 1 on 1 matches with Team Fnatic.
EvoX was lucky enough to play Fnatic maximum no of times with as many as 5 EvoX players playing Team Fnatic on the first day.

EvoX.TeRm!N@ToR who was the
First Indian ever to Play Team Fnatic On Lan almost came close to winning the 1v1 match, 11-9 Scoreline being a testimony to that which at 1 point of time read 9-9.This particular match also saw EvoX.TeRm!N@ToR put up a display of a
6 KILL Streak vs Fnatic.Kyo.
Day 2 : This was Probably the Best Day of Team EvoX in their short 18 month history. Team Fnatic wanted Exhibition matches with Indian teams in Call of Duty 4.After Some initial issues it was finally decided - India's top 2 Teams EvoX & FT5 will Face Fnatic in a 4 on 4 TDM match.
Tho FT5 lost but EvoX made Sure that India had its Head held High and Team Fnatic went back knowing that there are High level Gamers in India too.
In one of the most Dramtic matches ever for Team EvoX where in the final 30 seconds EvoX was behind by 3 kills and by luck suddenly came ahead by 2 kills in last 7 seconds of the match.Getting another kill in the last second was a bonus and Final Scoreline read 645-630 in Team EvoX's Favor.
The very Comment from Fnatic "We never knew COD4 is played in this part of the World" showed how surprised Team Fnatic were after the match.

Tournament Continued,
The League Rounds of Tekken 6 were also completed on this day (EvoX also Participated in Tekken 6)
By night the regular COD4 matches started,Most of the league rounds were completed by 4.00 a.m. in the morning.
Day 3 :> Arguably the worst Day of Team EvoX's History
Team Fnatic played some more 1on1 Matches and some more EvoX players tried their luck against Fnatic but to no avail...Baring
EvoX.Dominator whose scoreline vs Fnatic read 35-25 none other player from any team could even give a fight to Fnatic (Maybe becoz of the loss yesterday they were in a really foul mood..hehehe)
COD4 Continued, Team EvoX finally faced Team FT5 and the match started in high intensity, Well that intensity was very short lived as very soon Team EvoX were pushed on the back foot by FT5.
Team EvoX were beaten comprehensibly and the Score line 13-3 is living proof as to how bad Team EvoX played.
As a a result of this match Team EvoX were placed in Loser Bracket now.
EvoX's 2nd Team : EvoX-F also lost and were placed in Loser Bracket as well.
Both Teams came back very strongly and eliminated every other team from the tournament.EvoX-F finally Lost to Team EDX for the 4th Position Deciding match and hence were placed 5th in the Tournament.
Team EvoX however Continued strongly Eliminating 6th ranked Team Ninja and 4th Ranked Team EDX 13-4 and 13-3 respectively thus reaching the Final 3.
Here in, They only needed to defeat FT5K who were already in the final 3 to play Team FT5 again and avenge their 2nd Round Defeat.
The match Started all guns blazing and very soon Team EvoX put Team FT5K on the back foot.The Scorline 7-2 in EvoX's favor when FT5K called a timeout is a testimony to that.
Well that was the last Happy Moment for Team EvoX.
Here upon Things Changed : Bad Luck, Bad Play or a Bad Day whatever people may call it but From here on Team EvoX played Bad Really Bad, maybe overconfidence playing its part again.
From 7-2, Scoreline shifted to 10-5 still in EvoX Favor,but EvoX Still could not take advantage of that and by the end, in a dramatic change of events FT5K won 13-11 and that was the end of the COD4 Tournament for EvoX.
Team FT5 and FT5k did not play for 1st and 2nd Position as being from the same team and moreover becoz of the Time Constraints they decided to call it off for the day and declared themselves as Joint Winners or either Team as Winner and EvoX being placed as 3rd.
There were handshakes all around but the sad feeling in the air could be felt by everyone.
Most of the Team EvoX members were sad, tho their were celebrations later on but that winning feeling was missing which Team EvoX is highly accustomed to.
The only good thing of the Day that
EvoX's Member n3mo came in 2nd in the Tekken 6 tournament.

All team from their respective Games COD4, CS, DOTA, Fifa, NFS, Tekken 6 were awarded the Prizes and everybody went back home happy.

The Event was a success over all and for the Gaming Community of India it was one of the Best ever - Never before in Indian Gaming History has so many major Computer Brands come together for a Single Event.
Tho a not so good event for Team EvoX, but nevertheless as they say at the end of the day : It's just a Game and "Somebody Has to Win & Somebody Has to Lose" and it was
just not EvoX's Day this time around.
Team EvoX has recieved a major Setback in this tournament but we have the resources and the Will Power to bounce back from this defeat and make no mistake about it...
We Will be Back.....Our Enemy's Just Watch Out....!!!
